Here’s wishing all my American friends and readers a happy 4th of July.
This year, I hope you find freedom from your hidden desires and that your secret hopes come true!
I wrote two stories for this week that vaguely align with the “independence” theme.
The first of the two stories is based on a real life couple I know, who take a week’s independence from their marriage on July 4th.
They claim it keeps the fire burning in their marriage after 15 years of being together.
The second story features Jade, who was trying to seek independence from the scars left by an abusive marriage.
I have blended their life stories with two of the women in my life to create 100% fictitious stories.
