The states in India have evolved and increased since the time of independence. West Bengal was one of the states that dates back to the time of independence.

While beauty knows no boundaries, Bengal is known for its beauty alongside its pride in its culture, history, literature and heritage. Arguably, some of the most beautiful contemporary ladies also hail from this region — whether it is from West Bengal and surrounding areas or from Bangladesh on the other side of the border.

A few Bengali beauties have already graced Secret Hopes in the past, either in a gallery, a story or both.

I dedicate this month to the beauties from this region — on either side of the border. While I have the women to feature in the first week finalized, I welcome inputs from you on which Bengali women you would like to see featured this month.
